Soon after Faith In Action Outreach began, a group of ladies at First Baptist Church in Malakoff opened a clothing closet at the church to serve anyone who needed clothing free of charge.  This ministry soon outgrew one classroom and moved into three classrooms at the church.  In the meantime, FIAO moved into a larger facility, and shortly thereafter the two ministries combined.

The Clothing Closet works closely with the area school districts to provide "emergency clothing" for students at school.  And, whenever there is a needy student, the school counselors know they can call us for help at any time.
